About me, Devin SheckelsGreetings, When I was young, I was always helping my Dad with all of his projects around the home. He is very talented and always believed in doing things the right way. I quickly adopted this philosophy too. As a young adult, I held various construction jobs, including trim carpentry, installing kitchen cabinets and completing many remodeling projects. Through-out my careers, I never lost my love for being creative, so I continued increasing my knowledge of construction/remodeling and I have completely remodeled many old homes. I am a major do-it-yourselfer and have always done all my own work. I learned to do it all, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, etc, etc. If I didn’t know how to do something, I would always research the proper way of doing things and do the work myself. I started my own home inspection business, Able Inspection Services in Greer, SC. My local business is very successful & thriving. I have gained extensive knowledge & experience on various building techniques and their impact over time. This is the basis for my recommendations on my website.
